About The Artist

Born in Toronto, I studied fine art at Bennington College in Vermont, and earned a B.F.A. with Distinction, Major in Painting and Drawing, from Concordia University in Montreal. I won the Ottawa School of Art 2024 Portrait Contest to paint a commission of Colonel Chris Hadfield, and was twice selected as a finalist for both The Kingston Prize and Figureworks. I am a two-time recipient of The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant for Excellence in Representational Figurative Art, was a Rockwell Visiting Artist for The Taft School in Connecticut, and Artist of the Week at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. My paintings have been exhibited in Canada and the United States, and completed numerous commissions for private and corporate collections.
